Add headings, ordered or unordered lists and check lists to your notes. Use different text visualization - bold, italic, deleted, inserted and others. See how it’s done.

Text Effects

To make text strong(bold), place * on both sides of the text.

To emphasize on some text, place _ on both sides of the text.

To make text crossed out(deleted), place - on both sides of the text.

To underline the text, place + on both sides of the text.

To create subscripts, place ~ on both sides of the text.

To create superscripts, place ^ on both sides of the text.

To make text as monospaced, place {{ }} on both sides of the text.

To make an entire paragraph into a block quotation, place bq. before it.

Headings

To create a heading, place /hn (where n can be a number from 1 to 6) at the beginning of the row. Each heading is a separate snippet. You can check all the headings in the note by opening the note’s “Outline”.

You can create horizontal line in the note with a single dash on the row.

Notation

A bulleted list can be created with * or - at the beginning of the row. Use more ** for deeper indentations. Leave space between the list indication and the text. A numbered list can be created with # at the beginning of the row. Use #* for deeper indentations. Again leave space between the list indication and the text. You can do any kind of mixed nested lists. Create checklist with [] at the beginning of the row. Use [*] to mark it as checked when creating it.

You can place question marks or exclamation marks or the letter ‘v’ at the beginning of the row to attract readers’ attention. Create arrows in your notes with -> or <-
